Since we ran our Feb. 18 story about sisters-in-law Derrica and Natalie Wilson’s Black and Missing Foundation, their mission has expanded. The Wilsons just started a support group in Washington, D.C., for African-Americans with missing loved ones. On May 25 they will hold a 5k run/walk in Fort Washington, Md., to raise awareness. “We have been receiving requests from around the country for our help,” says Natalie. Reader Jamie Whitmore of HIllsboro, Ore., was “delighted to see the Wilsons make reuniting these precious people with their families a priority.”
